"The Road" (unofficial title)

 

This musical tells the story of a girl named Allie May stuck anxiously waiting for her life to begin. But the path that’s planned for her is going to kick her around, make her feel helpless, and will leave her stuck in the middle of the road to make a decision. An no one will believe her story because all the voices in her head scream louder than the truth she longs to speak. But she is strong, and she is worth more that what she thinks she is. 

 

This developing musical is a modern retelling loosely based off the true story of the “Death of Lucretia,” an ancient roman tale of pain, justice, self-worth, and the meaning of love. This story shows that there is beauty in tragedy when redemption is claimed."
